A few days ago, I was talking to someone inside the Rocket's organization. They mentioned that Yao was progressing very nicely and the outlook was very positive. I was told there would be a video released very soon showing his progress. I'm sure that this will be part of the sale to obtain Bosh or any other free agent that would have doubts concerning Yao's health. FYI, I was told that Jordan Hill was working very hard this offseason and the Rockets are liking what they see. A part of me would love to have Bosh, but I wouldn't want to lose Scola or Hill. If Hill can up his game, we may be better off keeping him & Scola.
not really...would you rather have a lexus or toyota, escalade or suburban, navigator or expedition? There are pretty big differences between a company's luxury line and their standard models.
I've been getting the same feeling recently, Hill's skills and quick leaping ability I find very intriguing. Specially given that his been working hard all summer. --RB
Sup gangstas. TMZ has nothing on clutchfans. what a Great picture!! And I agree with the poster that said it's a habit. I had drastic surgery on my foot a while back and when I'm standing still, I'll always lift it.
no i got my wife to take it out of the passenger window but she didnt roll it down. She took it with her iphone.
yao is clearly screaming in pain, poor big fella. And they cleared him to train %100, that sounds like a company doctor.
I don't find this surprising at all. It's going to take him months of play before he's really comfortable putting weight on that foot. The way I figure it, the regular season will be his training camp, and I'm OK with that. Just prepare yourself for Yao floating in and out of the lineup, and getting spot minutes, because he's bound to have a few setbacks along the way. Remember folks, the dude is gravy. Whatever he gives us should be extra, but not necessary to make the playoffs. This explains, of course, why all the talk of the Rockets being good to go is a bit premature. We need another star, badly. .
I wouldn't worry about this. Simply put, physical therapy can be painful, and he could very well have been told to favor it/minimal weight-bearing as a result of several different things and/or precautions.
