I saw Yao at a gas station near Toyota Center on Monday. He wasn't putting much weight on his foot the whole time he was pumping gas. I wanted to ask him how his foot was doing but I didnt want to bother him. I said hi to him as I walked by him but that was it.

    Good reporting!

I think we all know that he is not even half way there. Rockets organization said that they believe YAO should be healthy right at the begining of the season, and thats still months away. I would still prefer that he takes prime care of that foot. No more injured rockets season please.

Why is he pumping his own gas? Doesn't he have a wife? [IMG]

who doesn't stand on one foot when pumping gas? this is just sensationalist journalism. Are you really Buster Olney?

I'm pretty sure its just him being semi catious. I mean its not like he was actually limping or wincing every time he took a step.

If it was really as bad as we're going to make it seem he wouldn't be taking jump shots or running laps at all. So....

So let me get this straight. If I take the pic then I'm a stalker but if I dont take a pic then I am a liar. I just thought people would like to see this and want to discuss it.

Habitual or not, overcompensation almost ALWAYS leads to injury in a different part of the body. There is no doubt in my mind he will be injured again at some point next season, probably with his other, non-surgically reconstructed leg.
