DD has been here ten years to get that many WeMissDeke will hit the same amount of posts DD has now in just over 4 years at this rate he is on a 15,000 post in a year pace right now. a shame his QPC ratio is very low
Don't be suprised. That is how it is. When you are a new member (sure he is) you just want to post more so that people can notice you and recognize that you are a smart, good poster on the BBS. I remember, I used to average 25 ppd (posts per day) just after I had joined in. I am sure WeMissDekeMan's posts will go down.
This got me thinking. It might be fun to have a Poster Stats Page just like there's a Rockets stats page. So you have a "career leaderboard" that shows which posters have the most posts, or the most posts/day. Maybe a Rep leaderboard can be part of it as well. Also, who's posted the most (or gotten the most rep) during the 08/09 season. I think DaDakota would be our MVP, by those measures.
I was told, via rep points no less, that I was undeserving of 2 green dot status LOL I agree with Moes. The rep points are enough... any more and we end up with nastiness because of it.
what so someone gave you rep and said "you dont deserve two dots and rep?" lolz! but we all know the MVP isnt always given to the best poster, its usually the guy who gets the most hype. DD
The only thing bad about this is that I don't want to see a bunch of immature people having a race to move up the list by posting needlessly. "Oooh, another 40 posts today and I can be in the top 10!"
As it is, people are begging for and advertising rep points from post to post, which still sucks. lol.
That's probably true. Though being at the top of the list isn't necessarily a good thing. Frankly, if there was a daily leaderboard and it showed that I was near the top with like 55 posts or something in a single day, I think I'd be a little embarrassed. I know that I probably spend too much time on here, but I don't want everyone else thinking it too.
I honestly don't think you spend enough time on here. lol. I enjoy reading your posts whether I agree or not or think "he's nuts". At least I can contradict you knowing I may get something intelligent thrown back at me.
Maybe you can come up with something like the PER for bbs posting to measure how valuable a poster is. Those who post a lot with low quality would be like a low percentage volume shooter in basketball.
