lmao this made me laugh out loud. Anyway I agree, best thing to do would be to not even give this crap a click to be read.
Lol he says "not expected to win" a lot. So not being a favorite means if you do win it didn't count and you suck
I couldnt make it past #46. Echoing everyone else's sentiment's, Bleacher Report sucks. Their main feature is that they can allow themselves to talk about little niche things like who are the hottest girrrls associated with sports (!) To re-educate on an example what they failed to educate on (non-basketball), they mention Even in baseball, how is 8 games NOT a comfortable advantage? That is in NO way "backdooring" into the postseason. It failed to mention the Mets SWEPT the Braves in the LCS, so they only lost 1 postseason game. They pretty much soundly beat everyone. Or is it they "struggled" to make it through the postseason going by his criteria.. Lastly, it failed to mention that was the very first year MLB divided teams into DIVISIONS in each league. So the REAL proper answer is the Mets benefited from the new divisional format the league introduced that season. I know you can't cram too much info into long slideshows but that was a weak effort.
Wow! what a bad list! Some reasons he used to write this: 1. Teams that won in a shortended season, they are not good enough to win 2. Underdogs. 3. The ravens and tampa bay, that won with defense during the season, are very bad. 4. How the rockets can be the worse if they have Hakeem, one of the best players in the history of the NBA. Very bad!
How am I a troll again? Must have me confused with someone else. The Chron had this on their website.
If I had to pick the worst nba team to win a championship in the post aba/nba era, it'd have to be the 2004 pistons, no hall of famers, cheap ass tactics and injuries plaguing their opponents, the trifecta really.
Disagree with: 50. 2003 USC Trojans (Worthy of the National Champions) 49. 2009 New Orleans Saints (The Saints were the best team last year from beginning til end) 43. 1995 Atlanta Braves (The one season the Braves were actually clutch in playoffs and it was probably one of their best rosters) 37. 2000 Baltimore Ravens (Their offense sucked, but their defense was unbelievable...they were like the most dominant defense since the 85 Bears) 33. 2005 Chicago White Sox (The White Sox were pretty good that year, from start to finish ... 4 pitchers over 15 wins and all under 3.90 ERA) 32. No comments (That team could beat any NBA champion of the last 10 years in a 7 game series) 28. 2005-06 Florida Gators (Does the writer realize that this team had two Future starting centers on their team who are quality big men right now in the NBA) 25. 2002 Tampa Bay Buccaneers (One of the few teams of this decade that actually had a defense) 21. 2006-07 San Antonio Spurs (Who in their right mind would've thought Dallas was going to win a Title after that debacle in 05-06 Finals) 19. Pittsburgh Steelers (Ummm this team was 15-1 the year before and returned alot of its previous players) 18. 2003-04 Pistons 16. 1991-92 Pittsburgh Penguins 9. 1997 Florida Marlins (This list is d@mn joke at this point, that was one of the best non-Yankee/Red Sox teams in the last 15 years) 8. See #32
Considering they only made it out of the pool rounds by beating the lowly Australia thanks to a terrible refs call - yes. that's a good call!
OMG JORDAN JORDAN!!! HE'S GOT BIG MAC ENDORSEMENTS AND OMG I DON'T LIKE THE ROCKETSES BECAUSE THEY AREN'T ONE OF THREE TEAMS I REMEMBER FROM MY CHILDHOOD!!!!
