50 Cent Drops Game From G-Unit; Shots Fired At Radio Station

All that you said was pretty accurate, but I have to disagree with this statement. Game is making a nice name for himself with his new CD. He's supposed to be bringing a breath of fresh air back to the rap game, and he'll probably be around a while, too. It would help if he was still in G-Unit, but he'll be fine without them.

Also, I don't like how older white people think it's such a bad thing that suburban white kids (I happen to have been one) liking rap is such a bad thing. Most people don't understand how we think rap can be good music, and yes it is music. It's a sound pleasing to our ears that they will never be able to comprehend just like there are things they like from decades ago that we will never like.

 

A friend of mine burned the new 50 CD for me titled "the Massacre". It has tight beats but the flows are repetitive after awhile. He tends to say the same things differently over and over. It gets tired after 5 or 6 songs. It also sounds like Eminem came up with most of the hooks for him b/c they sound similar to Em's last CD. Anyways, it's a download, don't waste you money. Peace.

 

Looks like his controversy, beefs, and overall popularity helped. 1.1 million records sold in 4 days.

 

1.1 already, eh? Wow. I like 50, he'd probably be in my top 10 rappers, but I will admit he does get repetitive at times. He comes up with some real clever rhymes at times, and he has some of the tighest beats on his tracks. He's not near the tops of rappers, but the man knows how to sell CD's that's for sure. He's produced more hits since 2003 than anyone else. 1.1 in 4 days added to the 6.5 million in 2003 - highest selling album of the year, a full mill ahead of second and 3 mil ahead of 3rd - all that makes for one loaded gangsta.

 

Just heard they kissed and made up so they are back together.

50 and Game settled their differences, and they're cool now, least in front of the cameras. I read that they appeared as if they were complying with a stern mother's orders, or something like that. I'm sure Dre and Em convinced 50 to let it go because it means more money if they're together.
