Mason Jones may soon find himself on this watch list too. Just needs to get his FT% up and continue to play well (and probably get even more PT).

at 53% FTs, he's making a club all to himself ... the strict 50-50-50 club :)

I think you have to fulfill some sort of requirement......like minutes played to qualify.

Sterling already doubled, tripled or quadrupled his career production in one season.

    So there is that.

MPG is not a requirement for leader board on any of those stats,
i listed the qualifying criteria for each stat... didn't you see?

    FT% requires 125 made
    FG% requires 300 made
    3F% requires 82 made

You have to be fair and list your sources......otherwise it seems you have 'cherry picked' the criteria.

I see things but I do not trust....so my take was sort of a question really.

The minutes correlates to the Field goal made because it is logical that one cannot hoist up that many attempts in limited time.

I feel we try to see things similarly but are not on the same wave length, I think that's the point.

Once fans come back, won't these percentages come back down to earth?

Time will do it, regardless of fans being there or not. I’m not sure how unusual this is for a 15 game sample.

here's the entire history of criteria for each stat
    https://www.basketball-reference.com/about/rate_stat_req.html

and fwiw: Jose Calderon did not qualify for FT% in his 50-40-90 season, 2007-08. He only made 109.
As you can see here, he's not listed in Top 10 for that season
    https://www.basketball-reference.com/leaders/ft_pct_top_10.html

    Here is Wikipedia explaining.

José Calderón holds the record for best free throw percentage in a season, which he accomplished with the Toronto Raptors in the 2008–09 NBA season. To qualify as a free throw percentage leader, the player must have at least 125 free throws made. Aside from the strike shortened 1998–99 and 2011–12 seasons, this has been the entry criteria since the 1974–75 season.

yeah, that big list is not sustainable, but, by comparison, most seasons have zero ppl for November...esp when you discount players who actually achieved it.

that said, has there ever been a year when two ppl achieved it? three?

here's a quick way to look at November for many years (just change year). We'd have to subscribe to BBRef Stathead to get first 15 games.

    https://www.nba.com/stats/players/t...*G*50:FT_PCT*G*90:FTM*G*1.1:FGM*G*3.6&Month=2

    note:
in 2018-19, Malcolm Brodgon acheived the 50-40-90 club, that year
in 2017-18 Otto Porter maintained his 50-40 but fell well below 90. He did this 2 yrs in a row.
in 2014-15 Curry and Paul barely fell below 50, but sustained 40-90. And ofc, Curry achieved it next year.
several years of Nash doing it in Nov, and ofc he achieved it 4 times

The font looked like it was from the NBA page but could have been wrong.

Anyway, it's really neither important to me, nor was it intentional, just saying, I am all laissez faire. (Wave length)

For the qualifying criteria, BBRef is my source. Isn't that what you asked me to provide?

True, but I was reacting more to the Sterling comment as well.

The request was on the side ish.

You know darn well that he was hot at that moment and he was profiting from Wall out, Harden being traded, House out and so on.

I am not saying he can't reach that goal but he has to play consistent ball. It is very unlikely to put it mildly.

Now when Oladipo, Wall are back, Cousins and Wall taking tons of shots, he won't be able to hit that amount of shots.

    (Mavs game: 2-6 FG, 0-2 3%, 0-0 FT)

(He has made 41 FGM, 21 3FM, only 4 FTs so far in 13 Games, 21 mpg)

I think he would fail at the 125 FT line, the 300 FGM are shaky as well, 82 treys are attainable.

I am pretty sure he won't get to the line as much, there will be more assertive slashers at disposal.

His brother Shannon was the better scorer tbh.

The Rockets could always trade away Gordon, House, Tuck, etc. to accommodate Brown but that's highly doubtful before trade deadline.....

It’s a team issue though not sure why. Wall, wood, Nwaba etc can’t seem to make FT and especially can’t make timely ones. These points add up.

This is true, but at the same time, there is still a lot of weird stuff going on in regards to shooting and scoring. At least from the bird's eye view that I am watching the NBA, it seems like scoring and shooting are up.

it's crazy how good of a shooter seth curry is when you think that not long ago it was a question if he'd even stick around the league. also to do it in the shadow of a more famous brother.
