5 guys should be able to get uncontested 8 foot jumpers against one man, even if he is far and away the best athlete on the court. I assume you would post a man right at the basket at each side of the rim and Lin would have to guard against layups. If the gang of 5 gets the ball first, they might be able to score a few times. At some point Lin would get a steal or a rebound and then it would be all over. Alternating possessions instead of "make it, take it" makes it closer. Full court instead of half court probably makes both offenses pretty unstoppable. If one or two of the five has HS starter level game it might make it interesting. And I think I just took this question way more seriously than it was intended.
