i really was getting pissed at why Tmac wasn't given the chance to take over at the final quarter. The first three quarters doesn't matter but the last quarter has to be all his. Is it because he doesn't care much right now that they didn't pass the ball to him or was it just the boneheadedness of the other role players?
I saw McGrady going around screens to try and get the ball but the ball was swung away from his side numerous times. T-Mac has never been known to shy away from taking the shots in the waning moments of a game. Miss or make, I don't think he consciously avoids that role, he seems to thrive on it whenever the situation requires it. I think our backcourt was atrocious tonight, on both ends of the court actually, not just offense. Yah well, one of those games...
Remember this quote from Mcgrady a few weeks ago: http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/front/3643752.html When he first said it, I just assumed that he was speaking rhetorically. And I haven't watched the game yet, but people saying that Tracy was freezed out? That's just bizarre. Am I reading too much into this situation or can T-mac actually be referring to one or more of his teammates with this quote.
I think you stepped over the line. Yes, Yao tends to take the easy way out by shooting fade-aways when tired in the 4th, but he is still better scoring option than almost everyone in the team.
So it's an easier way to shoot fade-away for him when he is tired, so I guess it's not "purely stupid" as someone said in the game thread.
After last nights game, I could see that totally directed at D Wesley, don't know what got in his head last nite.
this is going to be unpopular but going by his 4th qtr form in the past few games i'd like to see jho as the go to guy if yao and tmac can't get their offense near the game's end. at this stage for the rockets it's all about finding any way possible to win.
Normally T-Mac would be bringing the ball up the court at the end of games, unless I was mistaken, he didn't do that last night did he? I also noticed the inbound pass to T-Mac being disregarded. I, along with the rest of Houston threw up their hands in a "what the..." expression. One loss they have to replace with a win over an elite team. Might as well make it the Dallas game
Garbage post. Yao has had many strong 4th quarters. If you never watched Rockets games, go watch some.
