    friend visiting from NYC. going to take her to Summerfest in Milwaukee and hiking. and drink all the wine and whiskey that i bought. :D visit my parents. that's about it.

    I haven't gone to see fireworks since I was a kid, but I'd kind of like to. That thing that's going down in Houston sounds like it's going to be a huge CF, though... couple that along with the music... Dunno if it's worth it.

    Anyone know of the fireworks ban situation, particularly around the Galveston area? Or Clear Lake/Friendswood area? I've got some leftover from last year that I'm ready to use. :)

    The Friendswood Fire Marshal’s Office reminds residents that it is unlawful for any person to possess or discharge any fireworks within the city limits of Friendswood. The Friendswood Fire Marshal’s Office and the Friendswood Police Department will be confiscating fireworks and issuing citations to anyone caught possessing or discharging fireworks. This offense is a Class-C misdemeanor carrying a fine up to $2,000. For more information, please call the Fire Marshal’s Office at 281-996-3335.

    My girl wants to do something, but since we live in Nacogdoches there isn't much for us to do. She works till 3pm.

    I'm thinking about driving us down to Htown to watch the fireworks show downtown.

    Was thinking about even kemah for some king crab at Landry's.

    They use to have a fireworks display every year at the baseball parks on Stallings in Nac.

    Am I the only nerd that watched History Channel all day? Love the programming on Independence Day. Well, what I got to catch between baking birthday cakes and sliding down waterslides with my nieces and nephews. :)
