Feigen really likes what he sees in Conroy - very exciting. Hopefully, Rox make room for him on the roster. Ariza's career 3PT% will most likely go up this year, ya think?
Ariza is going to be a beast, I just know it. Cheesy, appreciate the updates as of late, sure saved me a bunch of time searching.
Nope. He won't see half as many open looks as he saw in L.A., though I would guess teams would still defend his drive and hope he shoots. I see him being around 35-36% from 3 this year.
You realize his career 3PT% is only 30% and last year he shot 32% right? If he is going to improve to 35% then it will be by practice reps and/or changing his stroke to be more consistent.
Daryl thinks the same thing that I have told Aaron.. He should be our leading scorer. It was night and day in the Lakers' series when Aaron was being aggressive vs hesitating. We lost when Aaron wasn't being assertive. Attacking the pick and roll defense and trap defense is what Aaron needs to do all the time. There should be no post player who pops out off a pick that should be able to stop Aaron with the ball. Aaron should attack that guy and pick up some fouls to help his post teammates out as well.
True, my bad. For some reason, I misread and though it was last season's percentage we were talking about.
There was a story a while back in the chron that ariza had been training with mcgrady at tracy's mansion. they seem like hey ve hit it off
hmmm??? did you get what he meant?? T-Mac and Ariza can co-exist perfect on the court...just like how Ariza was the PERFECT compliment to Kobe...= championship
That will be interesting. If McGrady cmes back healthy, I could actually see them running together at the 2,3,4 spots for a few minutes a game.
The only way I see Tracy/Shane/Trevor co-existing if we went huge and play Tracy at the 1 while Trevor/Shane guards the opposing PG. (Trevor for quick PGs and Shane for stocky PGs)
That would be ideal, if that tandem of 3 could gel, be effective/versatile, and finish games = dangerous.
Tracy has played the 4 before. I remember him guarding Dirk way back in the playoffs a few years ago.
