Why does any guy cheat on his attractive/beautiful wife with a homely looking co worker, random woman, or even low-end prostitutes?

Sweetie, you already know looks do not keep a man from cheating. Any guy could cheat on Salma Hayek as they would on the frumpy, overweight wife down the street.

Up until recently I could never tell by your posts that you were a chick. You've been on a roll recently though.

As far as this crap article, a kid needs a family, not 24/7 nanny patrol. I do agree that 46k a month is nothing to a billionaire though.

Makes perfect sense to me. Yeah a typical kid only needs about $3,000/month but a billionaire's kid should be spending close to $50k. Especially since their clothes can be around a grand a piece and then the cost of their schooling/extracurricular activities. The 3 nannies however I dont think should be part of it. That's just lazy parenting and Evangelista should be forced to spend some time with her kid.

That be a good ad campaign:
    "99¢ for a condom or 46k a month."

The nanny and security are by no means rare for the american elite. Pretty much everyone in that strata has a 24hr nanny.

She's has a very valid point about maintaining her body and image as that is her sole source of income.

She's still a gold digging ho though. This is the supermodel who once proclaimed not getting up less than $10,000. She also only dates billionaires. Hard Rock founder Peter Morton.

and they only date supermodels. What's the difference? seriously...I don't get it. Playboys date Supermodels. Why is she a ho, and him being daddy's spoiled brat playboy given the keys to his company make him beyond repute. If they fire the nannies, why shouldn't he quit his job to raise his boy? I'm sure daddy's company can live without him...and probably more successfully.

Oh, and Peter Morton is also another playboy given everything by his dad. His dad is founder of a NYSE restaurant group. Peter was handed the opportunity.

Oh, and little Peter is co-founder, not founder. The other dude (who owns House of Blues and married Ringo Starr's ex-wife) is the main guy behind Hard Rock Cafe's success, not Peter.

    Supermodels >> Playboys

    :p

That's chump change for a billionaire. Better than the prospect of receiving his kid's ear in the mail.

This is not about what's "usual" in the billionaire world, or how much wealth the father has.

This MANDATED sum should represent what the child NEEDS.

Anything over and above what a kid NEEDS should be up to each parent to satisfy by choice.

Anything which relates to future expenses should be put in a trust fund which the kid can access when he/she grows up.

I have a question. Doesn't this basically assume that parents should provide equally, so in theory she is also contributing $46k a month to the kid's life?

It's funny how the late 80's - 90's supermodels turned out.

Linda - Got knocked up by a billionaire
    Cindy - Married a bartender/Owner
Christy - Got a MA from Colombia and married Ed Burns
Naomi - Started balding, beat up her assistants and is dating a Russian Oligarch

As Pouhe basically said though this is about relative lifestyle and most people tend to judge their lifestyle by their peers. I presume most of us don't live in the rarified world of billionaires and supermodels but we probably judge our lifestyle by our neighbors.

The amount of money talked about in a child support case of middle class US couples would probably seem excessive to someone living in Indonesia but to us would seem perfectly fine.

Anyway I don't think this is right and it wouldn't surprise me if that kid grows up to be spoiled with a huge feeling of entitlement but just explaining the basis of why Evangelista is asking for so much more money.

A situation like this speaks to me more about the inequality of wealth than it does about proper child rearing.

It should be about taking care of the NEEDS of the child
and not the WANTS of the mother

While it is sad that a parent may not want the best for thier child
I don't think they should be FORCED too.

If the child's well being were ever under any consideration, he would have never been born.

so if the kids 'legitimate' expenses run 46K, shouldn't the mother be responsible for half?
