Yeah, Walmart accepts exchanges/store credit for any item. If it wasn't purchased there, you get store credit.
Yup you can do that. You don't even need a receipt to receive store credit, and most of the time they'd still give you cash for them especially around Christmas. Just remember, they take your DL# so you can't abuse this system over and over again.. if you only do it a handful of times each year it isn't a big deal.
Don't tell them that though, just say you bought the four hoping to do some LAN parties but it didn't go thru and the receipt was lost, this all happening within a couple weeks.
