worst case scenario: Bo Outlaw type player. i would be cool with that, but i would love it if he ended up being a steal.
Dude, relax with the posts. You are new here. Tim works for the Rockets, so you can be sure if he says he has a hat, he has a hat and you aren't going to see it until the team is ready to make it public.
The Worst case scenario is that he turns into an NBA starter and 10 year veteran quality player? No, I think that is more likely the best case scenario. He's a 2nd round pick.
A worst case Bo Outlaw? If this guy was, at worst, a Bo Outlaw, he wouldn't have fallen into the 2nd round. It would be a miracle if this guy turns out to be any good. More than likely, we will hardly ever see him once the regular season has started.
I have a strange feeling about this pick, one I have not had for a very long time, like the early 80's. This could be big. My intuition says that the Rocket's have mined a diamond in the rough. I like this pick.
Malick Badiane. A hard-working, raw, inside banger and rebounder. Hmmmm, JVG and friends sending a message to EG? A little healthy competition?
have you read any of the info on this guy? i mean i'm nit tryin to put him in the hall of fame, but he's got to get you excited. he sounds like a real hard worker and a stud.
Me too. I think he's going to be better than advertised. Anyone who puts on 17lbs of muscle in 5 weeks is a hard worker. All indication is that he really gets off the floor really quick.
Have you read any of the info of any of these guys in the draft? It's draft hype. Every player sounds like they're going to make an impact in the NBA. All I'm saying is that people need to have the right frame of reference when judging any pick, especially a 2nd round pick. Don't let the pre/post draft hype get to you... Past history shows that maybe 1 or 2 players make it out of the 2nd round and amount to something. If he was a hardworking stud, he would have been chosen in the first round...
