Except a guy this twisted might not mind that sort of treatment. That, and you're paying major bucks to keep him locked up.
Listen if a guy like that gets his kicks from getting raped for 30 years, what makes you think he'd be no more inclined then to receive death in still his younger years. And yes it is cheaper to keep a guy locked up for life then it is to enforce the death penalty. The reason being is all the court time it takes to sentence a man to death, what with potential appeals to simply receive life imprisonment, and other handlings that would involve tax payer money.
I was looking for this yesterday on the Chronicle's web-site I saw it on Channel 11's news yesterday morning. This story is absolutely crazy. Poor girl, she was so embarrassed that she didn't get the help she needed and bled to death.
Yeah, I heard her mom (or someone) called 911, but she refused help from paramedics. Since she was not visably bleeding, paramedics couldn't do anything. Very sad since she would have lived if she sought help and could have helped police find the guy who did this to her.
F*ckin' sicko...I hope that b*stard rots in hell... I can't imagine anyone harming any child, let alone a 2 yr. old...I felt this way before I had kids, but I get even angrier everytime some a-hole does something stupid like this... God bless that little angel...
