Winning a championship by accident is better than not winning a championship at all. :p

They aren't causing problems, but they need better complementary players. A lot of people don't realize that either. DM needs to keep all options open.

Are you kidding? If they are "overrated", how can they "overachieving"?

If the starting lineup doens't match up well with most teams, how can they all have +points this deep into the season despite those injuries and poor defense?

You are underrating Rockets starting lineup, they are good on offense and they are fine as a 1st unit. The problem is 2nd unit, sometimes they get beat badly on both ends of the floor.

They are complementary players by themselves. They would be perfect to play with Yao/Tmac if both were healthy. It's just unfortunate both got cursed by basketball Gods in terms of injury.

DM doesn't have much options now. That's neither DM nor RA's fault. No NBA team can afford to lose two best players in 2 years and keep competitive. The bulls were NBA Champion, and they became one of the worst after they lost their best two players. Miami might be worse than Cavs if they lose Lebron/Wade in two years for basically nothing.

In that sense, DM and RA already did a much better job than average GMs and Coaches. Fans here just have too much expectation.

Hate to break it to ya but the Rockets are a top offensive team in this league and their bench is horrible on both ends of the floor.

    Do the math.

    You're kidding, right?
Wafer is shooting 41% overall, and 27.5% from 3s, for PER barely over 10. He's playing terrible.
Artest is terrible this year, and they are stuck with his overpaid contract for the next 3 years AFTER this year.
Landry is averaging 12.0 PPG, and only 4.7 RPG...great guy with a lot of heart, but he is NOT a difference maker.
Mutumbo wasn't run off, he was very old, very injured and had to retire.

Lee IS at better than Wafer, shooting 44% overall, and 42% from 3's, with a PER of 12.78. At a salary of $1.3M, he's good value at age 25.
Budinger has played much better since he got over leg injuries and has a PER of nearly 14. At $780K per year, he's good value at age 22.
