Spurs sit their starters..Jazz get a 33-10 free throw disparity in their favor. The league trying to keep things interesting with all these close records..

I know how you work Stern.

Spurs could have still won if Jackson had a decent game, he shot 2-13.

Sean Elliot is worse than the Jazz annoucners. Very hard listening to him tonight. Biggest ref crybaby of all announcers except for Tom Heinsohn.

Why on Earth did they rest their starters tonight? Are they not going to play the rest of the regular season? Do they have no interest in the first seed?

Talk about random and showing no respect to the rest of the playoff hunt.

    F$&k the spurs.

It's not random dude. They have a back to back Memphis / Dallas game coming up. 8 games in 9 nights. (or something like that)

You guys think they will sit out the rest of the regular season? I've got Tony Parker on my fantasy team and it's championship week...

The Sportscenter recap of the Bobcats game was brutal. Made them look like a clown show. Disgraceful.

The Spurs basically picked a few games to sit them on so as to best simulate a regular season, not a heavy load shortened season.

it's got nothing to do with us, didn't we actually play them when they sat those three too?

I think in most of those games..... Ginobili was out.... In some they sat Duncan..... but I guess Parker played in most of the 4 games......

Pop could have given each of his aging stars a game off while play the others. Instead he sat all his big three in the same game. Genius.

My God I can't stand listening to Matt Harpring talk. I'd rather watch him flop all over the court than listen to him broadcast a game. I really hope the rumors of him taking a broadcast job with TNT next year are false.

He doesn't bother me nearly as much as that stupid Lakers commentator. That dude acts like nobody else plays basketball besides the Lakers. Makes me wanna puke.

You mean Stu or the new guy that took Joel Myers place? I'm OK with Stu but the new guy is awful. Don't know what the Lakers were thinking.

I have a girl visiting from France and she's going to San Antonio this weekend to watch Tony Parker. That's all she knows about the Spurs, the NBA, or basketball generally. She thinks Tony Parker must be the best player -- maybe the only player -- in the league. So, it's going to be pretty dang funny when Popovich rests him for the one game she's able to go and see him play.

Didn't the league used to fine teams for pulling stunts like this? Sorry, but if I had tickets to a Spurs game I wanna see their big 3 play. If they're sitting out I'm simply not going to see the game. This should not be allowed.

how can you say this shouldn't be allowed? if the rockets had a team like the spurs..then i would be all for sitting out as many games from here on out until the playoffs begin.
