In a week and a half, Lebron is only going to have one more ring than Kevin Durant with a 1-2 record against Durant to boot. I guarantee you this, more than any other motivating factor, will land Lebron either in Houston or somewhere he can form a super team with Anthony Davis, Paul George, or other free agent giant. The Lebron-Jordan debate should have already left the station with a looming 3-6 Finals record. Lebron's legacy demands he leave Cleveland immediately.

Durant's decision gave LeBron a free pass to do whatever the hell he wants.

It sounds crazy, but I love the underdog narrative. Knocking off GSW in game 7 would have been sublime.

    No bs,

When Lebron joined Miami they weren’t winning rings nor were the role players close to warriors level.

KG was 32 [Younger then Chris Paul] Ray Allen same age, and Paul Pierce was 30 when they won the championship of anything the best prime years and wisdom and rondo was almost there fourth star and he was really young.

They were a dream team that was unbeatable, wade couldn’t do it, Lebron couldn’t do it so the logical step for them was to form there own because there was nothing like it at the time other then the spurs dynasty.

Kevin Durant is a bum for what he did

You don’t join the best team with the best record, with 3 all stars, mvp and a championship under there belts

He could’ve joined any other team and made his own big 3 but no he joined the best team in the nba

Lebron forming his own squad is not even close to be on par, Lebron leveled the playing field [Mind you they got beat by spurs] warriors just straight up killed the plYing field and to think iggy a former all star is just chilling like he ain’t nothing. David west a starter is playing dumpster minutes. This is how stacked they are

That's Gilbert or "Dan" as LBJ would call him, trying to get a high five from LBJ and LBJ just pretended him wasn't even there.

"We'll See" you in Houston, LBJ

The Rockets knocked off GSW in Game 7 CHAMPIONSHIP without CP3. You saw the rigged game, perception doesn't matter. The question now is if perception doesn't matter why should we care what anyone else thinks in a rigged system. Narratives and perception don't matter in this world, winning does.

KD validated this move, the only way for Lebron to win more titles before he retires is by joining rockets, there is not another out there is capable of beating or nearly beating the warriors except the rockets

Wow those of u that are saying Lebron did it with Miami first are truly idiots. No way in hell does him going to Miami = Kiesha Durant going to the warriors.

Lebron dropped 50 points on the warriors and still lost by ten. He’s coming to the Rockets.

Everyone is sick of the warriors - CP in his ear - it will happen (especially after this inevitable gentlemen’s sweep)

He can't surpass Jordan, minimal chance.

Let's see if he can catch Kobe and then Jordan.

I think the criticism leveled at LeBron about the Miami move(aside from The Decision TV special which was a travesty) is that he A) seemingly quit on the Cavs in the 2010 playoffs and B) formed a superteam with the Heat which made him look like a bandwagoner of sorts.

I think there's some validity to the first argument. He did seem to be kinda dogging it in that 2010 series with the Celtics. Not as bad as Harden in Game 6 last year, but it was in the same ballpark. As to the second complaint, I think it was a little unfair to the guy. First of all, the Cavs never surrounded him with a second star or quality role players. His 2nd best player on the Cavs team he left was Mo Williams for chrissakes. And second, the Heat weren't exactly a juggernaut at that point. They were coming off a 47-35 season, a 5th place finish in the East, and a first round 4-1 knockout by the Celtics. Sure, adding LeBron and Bosh to that team vaulted them to contender status. But it's not like they were an automatic lock to win it all. The Heat were 4 years removed from their previous title.

Continually losing in the finals isn't gonna help his legacy.

The b**** going to GS basically forced LeBron into a corner. No more titles and be happy with second or join a team already stacked and win "soft" titles. Either way he's gonna hear about it.

    Only by Warriors fans

Cleveland fans already appreciate what he did for their city by winning a chip and Lebron fans want him to win more titles and Houston is the best chance for him to do it at.

Lebron knows he can't win against the Warriors on any other team. This finals is gonna end in 5 only because NBA wants an extra game to get more $. Otherwise, Warriors would sweep.

If Lebron comes to Houston it's karma for all that GS bullshit that went down with them getting KD and then celebrating in game while they are blowing teams out by 20+. I swear that team has some serious reckoning coming to them at some point.

Lebron will be criticized no matter what he does... that’s what happens when you reach his level of superstardom.

Exactly - I have said this before and will say it again. LeBron leaving Cleveland for the first time was sh!tty but at least he came back and redeemed himself when he won one in Cleveland. Durant will only redeem himself if he leaves the Warriors and goes back to OKC to help them win their first championship.

This ENTIRE playoffs has been an indictment on LeBron's teammates. They even made a SNL Skit about it.

So the media gonna roast LeBron for going to a team with better teammates when they are sympathizing with LeBron now that he has bums?

And game 1 of the Finals continued to prove the point and hammer it home.
