never said yao was still hurt. said his conditioning and timing weren't back. those are nice numbers, but you know he put great numbers up against the jazz too. i've already said, his numbers post injury and pre injury are nearly identical, but the way he was scoring and the way he looked was completely different.
again, u have to think the jazz's physicality had something to do w/ yao not getting good position. yao never had guys pushing on him like that in the reg. season, b/c well it was the reg. season. all of it was just aggressiveness and good positioning and those are what he's trying to get from hakeem. even if his timing or conditioning are off, they are not that far off since he had a month and a half to play after the injury. just the physical play. now he's exposed to it for 7 games, he'll adjust to it next time in the playoffs. remember when he played dallas 2 yrs ago, he wasn't a star and the mavs didn't care for yao really. jazz did want to limit yao; they wanted to push him around and frustrated him. he'll learn from that. yao faces new things each yr b/c he gets better each yr. next playoffs ,he'll be ready for this physical play
