that's more JVG than them. they're told to stand there and wait for the pass.

He also said he had in mind a few players already who will try to get in his system. I could see Rafer gone by draft day.

oops forgot to add something, i do agree with aldmen ideas about have more movement. jvg's offense is just not working. also aldmen said that, with more movement, tracy won't have to do all the work like he did in the playoffs.

He came from small town teams into the 4th largest city in the US. The media and fans are all focusing on him right now. He has a lot of pressure to succeed in a short period of time.

Morey looks like he's drugged... or at least been prepped on what exactly to say.

    What a boring press conference.

if we trade rafer, there might be some gm that will trade an overpriced, but decent player for rafer and howard. hopefully, we get a good pg, without trading rafer, but benching him. hes a good bench player but thats it. hes not a good starter.

Adelman just said that he really feels there are things that can be done to make this team better offensively.

He said that Tracy needs to be attacking teams more and that Yao needs to be allowed to do more things on offense so he isn't working uphill all the time to score points. He has ideas already on how to make the game easier for both men. It isn't about their individual stats as much as it is about the efficiency.

    Paraphrasing.

    On Yao:

"If he can shoot 87% from the free throw line, I have a feeling he can make a free throw line jumper."

"You're not just going to see him in the low post."

"He's not going to be just a scorer, he's going to become a playmaker."

He has no idea what and who we have on this team. At one point he said "I don't know what T-Mac averages here like what 26 ppg? I can get him to score 24 a game and be for effective."

Give the man some time to go over the roster and he will find anyone worthy of playing. V-Span will get his shot if he shows it.

exactly. though tmac avg 7+ assist w/ games of 10+ assists, those were "HARD" assists where he had to do a lot of work. why? no movement.

tracy has such great courtvision that if u cut and ur open for a split second, u get the ball (i liked that play of JVG where alston cuts into the middle and tracy just stands still and whips a pass in there so quickly) => easy assists.

its not that the game will be more uptempo like phoenix or warriors, we're gonna be more efficient ala the spurs.
