Have none of you read the news about all the problems with the 3DS? Nintendo itself has said that the 3DS might permanently damage eyes of kids younger than 6. They also say that adults should not play on it for more than 30 minutes at a time. That's crazy. I would never buy one.

Making a 5 year old watch a steady diet of 3D video isn't exactly a great idea regardless of where it's coming from. For that matter, neither is a steady diet of video games I'd imagine. Video game companies have been giving fatigue warnings for as long as I can remember. Nintendo is particularly paranoid about this sort of thing so they will be extra cautious. There's nothing too out of the ordinary here.
