Abortion providers in Texas were regulated before the most recent law went into effect. This law was nothing more than a pretense to close clinics and I suspect you are fully aware of that plain, simple fact.
take a step back and consider your position: you're prioritizing abortions over women's health most disagree with your views
No, I'm prioritizing the rights women have to make choices about what happens in their bodies over people sticking their noses into the wombs of Texas women. These rules have absolutely nothing to do with women's health and you know it.
abortions are still legal in texas. yes, they might be harder to get now, and those that are provided will be done in conditions safer for the woman, and should the child be born alive, for the child as well. these are good things.
It is not a "good thing" that a woman might have to travel several hours from home in order to have a legal medical procedure simply because conservatives are opposed to abortion.
sorry, just trying to clarify your position. given the choice between "access" and safety, you choose the former?
There wasn't any such choice being made. Perhaps you can point out some instances in Texas where the previous regulations led to problems that needed to be addressed in the new law. I won't be expecting an answer, given that you haven't chosen to answer any other questions on this board, ever, as far as I can remember.
