    Speaking of NBA guys from Mash's era. Did anyone see Anthony Mason on NBATV's Knicks training camp special? I think he ate the entire food supply of every one of Mash's restaurant in one day. Mase got HUGE.

    Not to be a debbie downer but why does he have so many restaurants on just 4 franchises? LOL 34 outbacks and 37 papa johns in 1 state?

    More doesn't always mean good, especially when its just 5 franchises. What happens when Papa Johns and Outback enter a down year? And all in just 1 state! WTF is up with that? :confused:

    good for him. i'm glad not every ex-NBA player is stupid with their money. McDonald's, KFC, Starbucks would be good franchises to have. those aren't going to have down years. sounds like he's playing a mafia live or something with 37 Papa John's, 34 Outbacks and multiple car dealerships. lol. crazy.

    So what? Those Kentucky fans aren't going to eat 24-7 on Papa John's just cuz Jamal Mashburn happens to own it. Does Mashburn have a huge sign on his franchises saying "Owned by Jamal Mashburn, kentucky legend"?

    Like I you don't put all your eggs in a single basket, esp. in business.

    1) Starbucks has planned to close 800 stores over a 2 year period between 09-10

    2) I don't believe Starbucks franchises their stores anyway.

    Trust me, Mashburn is a smarter business man than you

    Mash was always outspoken. Probably killed his career as much as his knees did. A legit NBA scorer
