We were 35-20 last year at this point, and then promptly lost two games at home to Boston and Toronto. Granted, the Boston game, both Yao and Tracy did not play, but the Rockets got straight up worked by Toronto.

I hope the Rockets do not look past any of the teams in the current home stand. I would like to see the Rockets at 40-20 heading into the March 6 match up with Kidd and the Mavericks. Right after the Mavericks game, it is home for the Hornets.

    Which record is more impressive?
Adelman's who has beaten some tougher compeition

    Or JVG's
Who won with Mutombo at center and didn't have Wells, Scola, Landry, Brooks, in the rotation.

    I will go with JVG.

Boston has no depth and Detroit doesn't have enough to get it done in the halfcourt game.

The only team that has any chance is Cleveland....and that's probably not until next year at the earliest when they've integrated all their new parts and/or made other moves. How much longer is Anderson out?
BTW...I really like the move for Delonte.

I mean looking at Houston and L.A. alone you have two teams where the East seemingly has no chance.
Then you have teams like Phoenix,S.A,etc.....C'mon.

I wouldnt say so. Shaq earlier in the year still with the sucky Heat won the matchup against Yao. Now he's on a much better team. Even though its the Suns pace that hurts the Rockets, its Yao who is the Rockets difference maker against them. And that didnt always prove successful against them...now he's got Shaq to contend with. Hopefully the Suns being more balanced goes in the Rockets favor but they're just a tough matchup period..

All games on the schedule are "winnable" of course. They'll probably lose to a team they should have beat, and beat a team they're picked to lose to (Ex: lose to Philly but beat the Hornets). I'm just assuming their remaining schedule gives them 18 more wins no matter who the opponent is. Hopefully it'll even out like that.
