    I remember my dad talking about that game as the greatest college basketball game he had seen.

    It's great looking back and seeing Rodney McCray and Akeem realizing they would be a teammates a few years later and that 13 years later Clyde and Hakeem would finally get that championship.

    Best college game ever. Phi Slamma Jamma was heavily favored and it was amazing to see North Carolina State Wolfpack pull off an amazing last second shot for the huge upset. This was David vs Goliath. I was only 9 when I saw this game but the image of Jimmy V running down the court was truly epic. Just sheer sports drama at the highest level.
