I’m glad James didn’t attempt to save his 30 point streak. But most of all I’m glad he didn’t let the Warriors snatch it from him and gifted it to the hawks in the last seconds.
Twitter comments/mentions is a sewer of miserable people where they take pleasure in souring over things in order to make themselves "less miserable." Imagine being around someone like that. It is not even "casual fans." It is miserable humans as a lot.
Harden is one of the greats, and watching this guy go out and carry this hobbling corpse of a team to a 5th seed in a loaded WC was one of the most spectacular things that I've witnessed as a Rockets fan. Grew up without his father, in Compton, beat all odds to become one of the best offensive players the game of basketball has ever seen. Proud of this guy and how far he's come as a human. He reps H-town with the kind of honor you'd expect. It frustrates me that he doesn't have more fans. In hindsight... What a steal of a trade, Morey.
No-one can predict #STREAK like this , even Morey analytics doesn't hold enough algorithms, but MrBeardMan.For all doubters, oh-well ,wait another 30 years for talent , we were fortunate enough to witness this RUN.
It was classy the way the streak ended. Harden is an amazing talent; I still can't believe that OKC traded him. The Wilt record is secure forever. Maybe Harden's record too.
Yeah, true, true, but that is not how I am wired, it is a win at all cost mentality, moments of "Gee that is cool" but mostly, live and die with wins and losses. DD
His scoring tear is something I'll always remember and will be one of the most remarkable individual achievements ever. I am glad though it came to an end. With this team now getting back to full strength its more important to get everyone else incorporated in and stringing together wins than anything else. The Hawks game was a prime example of how other players on the court looked to be more confident and ready when CP3 had the ball versus when Harden did. They've gotten used to be being more of a stand and be ready to catch and shoot with Harden and with CP3 it was more move around the spots and be ready because CP3 is looking to pass first. Harden will get back there its how he played last year where he balanced his scoring with his passing effectively but he had to take on a large scoring load with the injuries. If the streak kept going right now there would be pressure from the fans and media to keep it going now that its over he can play more free and more importantly play more dangerously as teams will not be able to focus solely on him being just a scorer.
Apparently Kevin the clown McHale said on tv that the rockets usually foul to get another possession so that Harden could have a chance at getting more points....
