The streak took us from 14th place to 5th in the West.

During the streak, there were long stretches when our 2nd (Paul), 3rd (Capela), and 4th (Gordon) best players were injured.

Thank you James Harden for never complaining and doing whatever you had to do to keep this ragtag team into contention in the mighty Western Conference. Outstanding.

There are not enough eyerolls on the planet for this level of idiocy.

Now that Harden again has healthy teammates who are hitting shots, he eases up on the carrying-the-entire-team thing, and what does he get for a show of appreciation?

    This kind of nonsense.

Someone doesn't understand the idea of diminishing returns and how that applies to usage.

Agreed. Let's see if we can stay healthy from this point on and beat the Warriors in the playoffs.

Right. And thanks to James Harden's insane streak, we'll actually MAKE the playoffs.

He had to. The streak was necessary... if he didn't attempt to score in bunches, we'd be in the lottery.

the greatest stretch of 1 on 1 basketball ever.

Harden absolutely put the team on his back to keep them afloat despite injuries to key players.

Didn’t cry about not having help.

Didn’t give up because his team wasn’t good enough.

Didn’t settle for 25 ppg while losing every game.

Said, “Naw I’m a superstar, and imma do what superstars are SUPPOSED to do”

What a player. What a teammate.

For posterity - each shot, point in the game, and score in the streak where Harden topped 30 points (I think these are right...) :

1 of the most legendary scoring runs in NBA history...he saved our season with this streak

Who would’ve thought when we traded for Harden that he’d go on to be a perennial MVP candidate and 1 of the most dominant offensive players in the NBA history? Please get this man a ring to secure his legacy.

Thanks Inchan... this was a remarkable feat. Glad it ended for my own desire to see James without worrying about numbers or the team worrying about his numbers. Here’s to James taking what’s given to him and dominating with 50 point games and all that when it’s there! Looking forward to his next huge game!

It was something i dont think we will ever see again and I'm extremely happy to have witnessed it. He was just other worldly during this stretch and I found myself befuddled and mystified on many occasions by his brilliance.

At the same time I started to slowly fall out of love with ClutchFans because of the asinine fans.

I've never seen someone do such historic things, yet his own supposed fanbase ridicule him for it.

I'm legit appalled at how many people are so happy it ended. It's embarrassing and something I expect from reddit not Clutchfans.

You can try and justify it however you want, but if you are happy it's because your just a straight hater. The ESPN bias and media narrative got to you and you should ashamed.

I seriously respect Harden so much because he gets disrespected so viciously already and just shrugs it off.

He should feel support from supposed diehard rockets fans but so many are elated he finally failed. It's pathetic.

James Harden you are a phenomenal basketball player, with a rock solid legacy already, that's only going to get better and im proud as a rockets fan.

I truly hope it’s remembered as it should be. The 15-0 start in 93, Tmacs 13 in 33 and the 22 game winning streak were something special but I think this easily tops it for me as far as regular season greatness.

I'm happy it's over with, I'm proud of what he did, I applaud and believe his effort was absolutely needed, and I can't wait for the next unforced streak of 30 point games to start. I just don't want the team to force their play in a style to get him 30 for the sake of 30, but I know 30 helps the team 99% of the time. Is that bad in your mind? I only ask because I respect you as a fan.

The streak is over. Godspeed. Now it's time to focus on winning. And doing it more efficiently, with higher diffy's and lower minutes played for Harden and CP3. Come on, team, have higher expectations of yourselves.

The Harden Step Back 3 may well be just a dream in the playoffs. But his CP3-borrowed floater to beat the sagging big man is not. This is a huge new weapon to the arsenal.

Which is why we went from 14th place to 5th place during the streak, despite having major players out?

I think someone understands it perfectly...but somebody doesn't.

FWIW...interesting fact about the 30 pt streak....Harden had more FORTY point games during the streak than he had 30 point games....

I wanted to say this as well...he regularly scored A LOT more than 30. 61 in the garden comes to mind. Consecutive 50 point games too.

Congratulations and thank you James Harden. What a ride. Go rest up big hoss, the Houston Rockets got you. We need a fully gassed up flamethrower to get this chip.
