Sucks for them. I think they're better off keeping Reefer and Damon. They could probably resign them for less than they're making now.

You misread my intent. I wasnt saying Francis was a FA. I was saying that those contracts are coming off the books and thus the Blazers would be looking for FAs. Is there a FA out there that equals the VALUE of Francis now? I dont know. Same theory on why the Knicks went after Marbury. Like Thomas said, if I had cap room I would go afte a guy like Marbury anyway so why do I need the cap room?

    Score!!!

    Suns #7 pick for a Chicago's 2nd rounder, a future 1st rounder and cash.

HOLD YOUR HORSES! That means that the Bulls will have the #3 pick and the #7 pick! They could entice the Magic with one of those picks for Francis! Like the #3 pick for Francis etc! And while we are at it...the Suns look to be out of the T-mac derby! HUGE! HUGE!!!

Suns wants to clear cap space to lure top free agents.
I think their management is good. A couple of seasons ago they
were handcuffed by bad contracts like Penny, Googs, etc. Now they
    have 16.3 M cap space.

since it appears we are the only team left why doesn't CD try to low ball the magic and make a better trade on our side.

I'm not big on throwing out conspiracy theories. But these are special times.

Francis to Chicago via Orlando for the #3 and #7 (and maybe Jamal Crawford).

I don't think that Orlando wants 3 rookies in this sh*t draft.

I bet Orlando would be more than happy with #3 and Crawford S&T. That would leave Chicago with #7 and Francis and Orlando would have Mobley,Cato,#3 and of course their #1 pick. They would love that! They could draft Howard and Livingston.

Holy Crap! Hamilton just mentioned a proposed Al Harrington for Ray Allen trade. How sweet would that be?

For the Rockets of course. Ray Allen would be a great fit in Indiana though to replace Reggie Miller. I don't think Seattle is getting enough value though. If they could get Bender too, then it might seem a little more fair.

I don't know how legitimate this guy is, but he is fun to listen too.

    #3=Deng
Deng and Okafor looks pretty good, you get you instant help and you upside. But wouldn't CHi have to add salaries to equal Steve's?

I hate to throw water on this party, but hasn't Chicago made an offer directly for McGrady? What if they're using this pick to sweeten their package for him, not for Francis?

Great trade idea for Indiana. But why for Seattle? Do they plan to use Harrington at PF with Lewis at SF? Isn't that a bit small?

McGrady isnt going to want to go to Chicago. That is the key. Chicago wouldn't risk it.
