What? Are you saying you'd rather have Shareef and Stoudamire than T-Mac. I'd rather keep Steve/Cat/Cato than do that deal with Portland.
Stoudemire Mobley SAR Okafor Cato It's certainly capable of making the playoffs I'm waiting for that Hacksaw dude to say some stuff
That doesn't add up, since both Stoudamire and SAR each make more than Stevie does alone. If you had used the word "or," it might work, but not both. If I'm Orlando, I'd rather take the deal with CHI (Chandler/Williams/Hinrich) or PHO (Marion/#7).
nomaanbaig - great job. Thanks for passing along the info and providing all the details on it. Perfect. I can verify - just heard the report listening to the station online. He also talked about Derek Fisher set to join the Rockets when the deal goes down.
Confirmed. Hamilton just talked about the Portland link. Damn. Im going nuts here. Trying to listen to LA Radio, Houston Radio, ESPN NEWS and refresh CF.net all at once. Im going to crack soon..................
Just thinking....what is Orlando's motivation here? First I know the numbers of DS and SAR dont add up to Francis. But is DS and SAR equal trade for Francis? And arent they coming off the cap next year? Does Orlando want guys coming off the cap? They could clear cap space by letting Tmac walk next year.
Yeah, he sure said it. He didn't say the players specifically this time around, but clearly nomaanbaig heard SAR and Stoudamire. Those two are both max players, so it would be interesting to see what they could do cap-wise to make that work.
my wife just walked by and said "Are you listening to sports radio in LA now? Don't you think your obsession with this is going a little far?" i think we all have an addiction that we need to deal with.
Just think if all of this happened 10 years ago, with the internet not like we have it now, how would we have gotten our info?

TRADE ACCEPTED There were BYC players involved in this trade, so this trade is subject to the BYC provisions of the CBA. Due to Houston, Orlando, and Portland being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Houston, Orlando, and Portland had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out unless trade exceptions were used for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
