A source told ESPN.com that the Knicks pick in 2011 is Top 5 protected. In 2012 the Knicks pick is only Top 1 protected

Morey just turned an aging outgoing player and a second round pick (Landry) into Kevin Martin and essentially three first round picks (possibly all lottery). I'm a little concerned about our cap situation now, but when you're getting this much I think you have to just take it and worry about everything else later.

The first bad game Hill has you know the haters will come out saying we should have kept Landry... you just can't please everybody. Really good deal for the Rockets. We have always needed a good SG on the floor with Yao and we finally got one. That helps Brooks and Ariza this year as well. I'm not expecting a whole lot from J Hill this year. I think he is a work in progress. Has natural talent, just needs some good instruction to go along with that. People shouldn't expect him to be a starter for atleast another 2 years or so. The picks are great as well. More chips to bargain with this summer or next deadline. Or pluck another young talent from the draft to add to the fold. Our GM does a great job with building this team in a very efficient manner. We are lucky to have him. Now lets watch these new parts gel and make something happen....
