I've given $0 and 0% of my income...I don't have room to talk. He's doing something, which is a hell of a lot more than most of us can say.
Well I think the biggest point here is McGrady actually went to Darfur to promote his message. Anyone can donate online from the comfort of their own homes, but to take a trip to this place (not exactly in the same fine condition of his house I imagine!), communicate with the children and the community leaders, and put it all on a documentary to spread awareness of the situation can't even be measured in US dollars. If future athletes/celebrities/businessmen/average Joes watch this documentary and are inspired enough to donate money, supplies, and time, shouldn't this all be attributed to McGrady also? Not only is he donating money, he's spreading a message.
I agree, we can all talk about bad situations but real people are living out there and losing their lives for NOTHING. Tracy said it really good, our problems are nothing compared to problems that are in Darfur, Sudan. This documentary raised my awareness about importance of giving away and caring. Thanks for sharing.
It's an insult having your username as Illmatic as it was one of the smartest and best albums ever produced.. The total opposite of you. tool.
Wow I can't believe I never saw this before. Way to go McGrady. Boy am I going to miss that #1 on his jersey. #3 is 4 a good cause now. Come back Strong!!!!!!!!
WOW...alotta hatin, tha world is bigger than jus basketball related stories and what he chooses to do in his personal life is up to him, atleast it is positive in every sense of the word...
Clutchfans has become a world of illogical and simply down right ignorancy. It's amazing how Anitsonics disciple have flooded this place, Clutch should take action fast because I don't even think tinman would put in doubt what Tracy has done to help outside of the court.
I thought there was going to be a thing with Tracy slam dunking food into people's mouthes and taking out terrorist with chest passes
Lmao. Only Tmac can make a documentary for a good cause and still get ripped to shreds. If Kobe or Lebron did this, everyone would look at them like gods. When TMac does it, he's making the world even worst.
T-Mac could save the world from the 2012 Apocalypse, and yet people here would criticize him for not rehabbing or working on his jumpshot and freethrows.
i agree NAS illmatic one of the best albums ever.... Great job Tracy we really have class guys on the rockets
