OK I made a mistake that I though the blue line is 3P% of each individual game. It's actually 30-game average LOL, no wonder it's smoother than 4-game MA.
I agree. I think one of the reason we started losing so many games this season was because of settling for way too many three pointers. We won't be shooting this well from 3 point land all the time. And I also hope we don't take those many threes all the time. Thats how we lost in the playoffs last year. We literally lived and died by the three.
The problem is: If you can hit the 3s, the scoring in paint will be easier as well. When Yao gets double/triple teamed at the paint, our shooter could not finish, then we deserve a loss. Its a team work. We should shoot those uncontested 3s.
mmm, am I the only one who noticed rockets' schedule was like this in November? Wed 14 vs LA Lakers L 90-93 Fri 16 @ San Antonio L 84-90 Sat 17 vs Phoenix L 105-115 Wed 21 vs Dallas L 94-100 Fri 23 @ Miami L 91-98 And like this in December? Sat 22 @ Chicago W 116-98 Sun 23 @ Detroit L 82-94 Fri 28 @ Memphis W 103-83 Sat 29 vs Toronto W 91-79
Right, sorry I didn't make that clearer. It would definitely be weird if the moving average fluctuated more than each game!
Can you do something about the free throws as well? I noticed great improvement in the last game, but I don't know whether it is only for one game.
I just observed that both lines were moving upward. You have all confused me now by citing the specifics of the chart. The old brain does not work like it used to so I have to keep things simple.
that's one of the reason why the team seems to be playing better.at the start f the season 3 pt shooting was bad and that's why we couldn't win games.guys are getting their shots just that now it is going in a lot more.
