or maybe we should just stick to facts of this case and not throw out irrelevant statistics that have nothing to do with nothing. he wasn't even driving till someone ran up on him with a gun at four in the morning.

Can't help it, i find it despicable that you would actually argue this guy was probably going to kill someone else, when he was on his way home, to justify dying violently at the hands of people hired to protect him.

you want to start a discussion about drunk driving do it somewhere else, its irrelevant in this situation

whatever, if it was so irrelevant you would not have claimed his "doing nothing wrong for the police to stop him"

I've actually been in a couple of situations like this before and one actually involved an undercover detective.

Somebody accused me and 3 of my friend of having and pulling a gun on individuals after we had got into an argument with some white males who used bats and garden tools to attack us.

The police were told of this and a car pulled us over immediately and was soon joined by 6 other law enforcement vehicles and 10 personnel. They made us put our hands up while in the car and made us exit one by one while walking backwards toward them. They searched each of us, cuffed us, and then placed us in the back of their cars individually. They then searched the car and found nothing but a box cutter, which my friend used at his job at the Frito-Lay factory. They apologized for all this after it was found we had nothing and let us go.

While all of this is going on, the males we got into a conflict with ride by yelling and poking fun at our situation and we tell the police that's who you need to check out. They tell us they'll work on it but do nothing not even after they let us go.

Now we pulled over and stopped and listened because these were obviously uniformed police in patrol cars. I can't say we would have done the same if an undercover tried this.

The second situation, me and two of my friends were playing basketball at one of the local community centers here in the "bad part" of town. When we go to leave a black male runs past us and we look in his direction and then see two uniformed police officers chasing after him. The undercover hops out of a car we were behind and proceeds to blame us for the suspect getting away. He claims he was honking and yelling for us to move. He wasn't. Some other uniformed police arrive and he (undercover) takes our names and information down and tells us we may be charged with obstruction of justice. We never hear anything back on the accusations. Again, uniformed police were present.

My thinking is, if you are undercover don't you call in for some uniformed back up and inform your colleagues of this in case they have to come and back you up anyway in a gun fight because if they arrive and you are undercover, how do they know who is good and who is bad?

he didn't do anything wrong, he wasn't drive till someone pulled a gun on him. Try again, look I know all you have left to defend this crap by claiming my statement of he did nothing wrong is inaccruate. but he wasn't driving till the cop created that situation, and i don't give a damn how drunk you are, if you fear for your life because some dumbass runs up on you with a gun at four in the morning, you have a right to try and get away.
