What people aren't noting is that another member got kicked out for vehicular manslaughter. Band really fell apart. I was playing Loser on my guitar this morning before I heard this, sad.
The Better Life is still one of my favorite CDs. They actually had a pretty good run in the 2000's. I only self medicate when I'm in really bad shape, and that's usually just an off the shelf tylenol. Prescription pills are a plague in this country. Of all the things in my childhood, watching family members stumble around looking like late stage parkinsons was one of the most unsettling.
Man, 3 Doors Down apparently is a bunch of druggies. First a member kills someone driving under the influence, and nowan overdose. I'm sure a lot of bands are, but they've had bad luck/press.
