ESPN Stats & Info @ESPNStatsInfo Kobe goes 9-for-31, missing 22 shots; tied for the most missed shots in an NBA game this season. He tied himself.
I only watched the last few minutes, but Kobe was a complete joke. Something is wrong with him. Mike Brown needs to have a talk with Kobe because he's out of control. Just a little bit of restraint and common sense and the Lakers would have won the last two instead of losing.
True, but Mike Brown does not have a spine. He's just gonna let his superstar do whatever he wants (Lebron in Cleveland), ad hope it works. It's still crazy to see the lakers not play towards thier strength which is their dominate frontcourt.
This dude refuses to be outshined. Pass the ball to Bynum/Gasol and they win these 2 games with ease. It's like he knows he has no chance at a ring this year, and is solely going for stats. It was understandable in Cleveland b/c LBJ was options 1-3. You have a legit #2/#3 option (which can be your #1 option too). Brown has to speak to Kobe and let him know he can impact games in other ways. Dude is trolling with these brickhouses.
WB also had 10 assists plus Ibaka was 2 points away from a 20/20. Except for Ibaka, OKC played like slop for 3 quarters until taking over. Without Ibaka's offensive rebounding and jumpers keeping them close enough, they would have easily lost.
Sam Amick @sam_amick [rquoter]Kobe tried to downplay the Lakers' road woes on Sunday. He's clearly wrong. And so much for the balance I wrote about after they beat Miami. Last two games - losses at Detroit & Washington - Bryant is combined 17-of-57 from the field while Andrew Bynum & Pau Gasol 33-of-51.[/rquoter]

He know he aint gon win a title this year so he goin for da only other title he could win, da scoring title. No matter how many shots he gotsta jackup, he determined to get it.
