    Most people don't.

JVG is who you're going to use as your credible analyst? lol.....

    He's not a superstar.

Let me also add this, your definition of superstar might be a little different than mine. I don't toss that term around lightly.

Westbrook is closer to Rose than people think. This year he has been better.

Of course people will say look at the teams that they play on, except for the Bulls have actually been winning while Rose hasn't played.

Most people you're referring to are who?

And it's nice to see you don't take JVG's opinions seriously either. He's a coach before an analyst.

The guy was 2nd all-nba team last year, and he's much better this year. And he'll end up 1st/2nd team all-nba again THIS YEAR, where great guards are abundant.

Everywhere I read, I don't see anyone calling Westbrook a "superstar" Haven't seen any analyst call him that either. He's a great player, he just isn't a superstar to my definition. It's a subjective term so for some people it might be different but I can't quite put him in the class of my 9 superstars I have right now.

I don't know where you get your readings but that's you.

Hollinger, Ric Bucher, Wallace, Haberstroh are 4 guys off of ESPN who I read that have called WB a superstar. NBA.com Smith has WB #5 in his most recent MVP ranking. I can name more if you want. I already named JVG.

Bucher actually states WB is better than Durant (blasphemy I know) on ESPN sportscenter when he did his rankings, but PLENTY thinks WB is a superstar.

Bucher thinks WB is more important to the Thunder than Durant.

WB isn't a superstar is hilarious.

JVG has no credibility to me.

Everyone has their own definition of superstar. I just don't see that term tossed with Westbrook when I see people talk about him from the majority of what I read. That's all I can go by.

He's not there yet. He's not even a better player Wade, Rose, LeBron, Howard, Durant, Paul, or Love. He might be having a better season, but that doesn't mean he's a better player overall than any of those guys.

I don't mind if you don't think he's a superstar, just like not everyone thinks JOrdan is the GOAT. But the poster's reasoning that he's playing with another star and not facing that type of "defense" are the reasons why he's not a superstar is not logical.

How does that even work? You prove you are better by PLAYING better.

Well, going by PER, he's not having a better PER than any of those guys right now. But, the only guy out of those who he's out performing right now is Rose and Rose hasn't really played though Rose is the better player. That's what I meant when I said that.
