lol. Why the media continues to say this despite the fact that most NBA champions don't have traditional PGs is beyond me. Also, more and more these days, Kobe does things on the court that just look f-ing ridiculous. Dude's getting old.
If the Lakers even get to the 2nd round, they are dead if they play OKC, Memphis or San Antonio. OKC is the Lakers' kryptonite; their absolute worst matchup. There aren't better than last year. You have to play the games, but it will take a miracle for them to become a legit Finals contender.
Westbrook is the best PG in the NBA this season, despite of being a knuckle head and really not a true PG. What amazes me is how much room he still has to improve.
So glad all of the smack talking Kobe did during the first two quarters worked out for him. Dick munch.
Only because Rose has been hurt this season. If Rose is healthy, Rose is the better talent and player.
That maybe true. Rose does have a better floor game and is a better passer. However health is a big part of being an elite player. Rose just doesn't seem to be able to stay healthy this year. And it's not just one freak injury. He's had an array of different injuries. That's usually a sign of a player starting to break down physically.
Westbrook is far more scary than rose, in my opinion. Rose is a better finisher and can hit shots in the clutch. Westbrook can bury a team through momentum swings. I'd call this a draw. I'm coming around on westbrook. The best thing about westbrook (for the opposing team)is that he can sometimes shoot the thunder out of a game, but that is happening less and less these days.
Some of the things Westbrook is able to do is partly because he doesn't see the defenses Rose does. He doesn't get hard doubles near half court because he has Durant on his team. It's easier to double Rose when he's the only guy on the Bulls that can get his own shot.
