THE EAST: Milwaukee Bucks 49 19 Boston Celtics 47 22 Philadelphia 76ers 45 22 Cleveland Cavaliers 43 27 Brooklyn Nets 39 29 New York Knicks 40 30 Miami Heat 37 33 Atlanta Hawks 34 35 Toronto Raptors 32 36 Chicago Bulls 31 36 Washington Wizards 31 37 Indiana Pacers 31 38 Orlando Magic 28 40 Charlotte Hornets 22 48 Detroit Pistons 16 53 ----------------------------------------------------- Denver Nuggets 46 22 Memphis Grizzlies 41 26 Sacramento Kings 40 27 Phoenix Suns 37 31 Golden State Warriors 36 33 LA Clippers 36 33 Minnesota Timberwolves 35 34 Dallas Mavericks 34 35 Los Angeles Lakers 33 35 New Orleans Pelicans 33 35 Oklahoma City Thunder 33 35 Utah Jazz 33 36 Portland Trail Blazers 31 37 San Antonio Spurs 17 50 Houston Rockets 16 52 In the East I don't expect much movement at the Top I think the Top 3 are set - At best 2 and 3 switch I expect Brooklyn to get lower than the Knicks Heat are a wild card In the West - I just don't see Denver Losing the top spot (though they are showing the ability to lose to anyone) Kings may overtake the Grizz Golden State may over take the Suns I expect the Lakers to stay in the Play-In at least Rocket River
THE EAST: 1. Milwaukee Bucks 49 19 2. Boston Celtics 47 22 3. Philadelphia 76ers 45 22 4. Cleveland Cavaliers 43 27 I agree that the top 4 stay the same. 5. New York Knicks 40 30 6. Brooklyn Nets 39 29 7. Miami Heat 37 33 8. Toronto Raptors 32 36 That looks like the top 8. Sets up a beautiful Buck vs Sixers or Celtics ECF. THE WEST: 1. Denver Nuggets 46 22 2. Sacramento Kings 40 27 3. Golden State Warriors 36 33 4. Memphis Grizzlies 41 26 5. Phoenix Suns 37 31 6. LA Clippers 36 33 7. Los Angeles Lakers 33 35 8. Minnesota Timberwolves 35 34 West is crazy. Suns, Clippers, and Lakers are capable of upsetting whoever they play. The Suns will upset anyone with Durant. The Nuggets would likely be upset if they play the Lakers with LeBron. The Clippers need some luck like playing the Grizzlies now that Ja is having his brain fried or Lue benching Westbrook. What I want from the West is for everyone to be healthy and the Lakers to fail spectacularly.
Denver is free falling, I would say either Memphis or Sactown is eyeing the first spot, it would get real close. I don't care about Dallas, Suns and Clips aren't moving up or down a ton. I agree that the Worriers with Curry are gunning for 3rd or 4th seed thus HC advantage. Protect the house! (Play In: I root for OKC over Nola but at the end both would deserve it.)
First Round (E1) Bucks over (E8) Hawks (E2) Celtics over (E7) Heat (E3) Sixers over (E6) Nets (E4) Cavaliers over (E5) Knicks (W1) Nuggets over (W8) Wolves/Mavericks (W2) Grizzlies over (W7) Lakers (W6) Warriors over (W3) Kings (W4) Suns over (W5) Clippers Conference Semifinals (E1) Bucks over (E4) Cavaliers (E2) Celtics over (E3) Sixers (W1) Nuggets over (W4) Suns (W2) Grizzlies over (W6) Warriors Conference Finals (E1) Bucks over (E2) Celtics (W1) Nuggets over (W2) Grizzlies Finals (E1) Bucks over (W1) Nuggets
Lakers and mavs take the last 2 spots. I think they can upset both memphis and denver if its lakers at 8
The back 2 back MVPs going head to head in the Finals...I've sent this to the scripwriters for the NBA. See if they'll book it, although I'd rather Nuggets win it all. I need to make some edits.
Denver reminds me of the old Stockton Malone Jazz They always were high or near the top in the regular season but most times in the post seasons didn't have that needed next gear Rocket River
Jordan was the next gear. Only the Bad Boy Pistons could get one over young Jordan. Barkley, Utah, Payton, all victims.
