loose cannon, I'm not sure about a player that risks getting himself rejected on a gamely basis, and doesn't seems to listen to nothing anyone tells him including the coaches.

plus all that stuff about him getting into fights with team mates at practice, really not sure if I want him on this team

These technicals and flagrants are huge when your team is in a tight race for playoffs or worse losing momentum in a playoff game because of a boneheaded decision like this.

Paging all the knee jerk pricks who criticized Morey for waiving this kid from the RGV squad.

definitely a huge problem. no wonder it was so difficult for him to make the league and this is probably one of the few issue with him. these incidents as of late are on par with cousins, and whiteside is in no position to be acting as if hes been in the league.

Wade's comments on Whiteside are just deadly. He clearly has serious issues. Rarely do you hear that kind of open disgust from a teammate. There is a reason it's taken Whiteside 5 years to latch on with an NBA team.

The talent is there, but huge loose cannon. Still see the Heat giving him plenty of chances though. This guy can effortlessly grab 10+ rebounds a game and average a double double throughout the season.

Talent will outweigh a short temper most any day.

If we giving this guy some burn off the bench is "not worth it", I am sure there are 28 other teams that would give him a chance.

Artest is the only one on that list who may have been given multiple chances but he was always a NBA player, never booted from D-League teams. Maxwell did actually flame out.

If this guy is repeating some of his bad behaviors again and he has been kicked off (or at least politely told not to return) by multiple teams, then it is not a knee jerk reaction but a very reasonable assumption he is running out of chances to stick in the NBA.

There is a difference between committing a really hard foul/getting into a fight in the heat of the moment and what Whiteside just did. He went after the player with intent and then just calmly walks off without one care in the world for what he just did. Coupled with previous stories, he has million dollar talent but a 2 cent head and likely needs help.

    "Winning cures all..."

When you're winning and something like this happens, it's minor. When you are losing every other game (as Miami is), then things like this are blown up.

So no, not even then. Give this guys Dorsey's minute. Make him play behind Dwight AND Dmo. Make him EARN his floor time. Put him on a short leash.

In Miami he has been "crowned" as found gold. He has given Miami leeway to trade off 2 first to get Dragic. So he might see himself as entrenched into the franchise.

He would get no delusions of this on a set/deep/winning team. Miami is not that.

He would NOT be acting this way had Lebron still been there.

When he entered the draft, he was reported to have ADD. Huge red flag which made many teams pass on him, including us.

His behavior may be related to that. He cracks under pressure. As it is, his focus playing basketball has improved a lot. But he may not understand or accept the banging down low.

This video has nothing to do with the Whiteside ejection. But it does confirm that Blake is a punk. Love Andre Miller standing up for himself.

Elbow to the back of the neck from Whiteside is what makes it a 5 game suspension and show that he has mental problems.

Olynyk forearmed checked Whiteside 18 feet from the basket. A hand check would have been foul, right?) Gotta think if you wind the video back that you will find bad behavior from Olynyk. No excuse for Whiteside though; he has to learn to deal with the NBA rough play.

I have no earthly idea what all these names have to do with each other. Did Lebron James run up in the stands and beat up a fan? Is Blake Griffin a known cross dresser who married himself and is besties with The leader of a North Korea?
