Your perspective tends to change when your personal safety is threatened.

Don't forget Warren G. Harding his administration was riddled with a series of scandals involving members of his administration enriching themselves from government business.

I put Trump close to the top of bad President as he combines the divisiveness and lack of respect for the separation of powers as Johnson with the corruption of Harding. Also Johnson was impeached on far more questionable grounds than either of Trump's impeachments.

Most of this vote went as expected and while disappointing expecting the amount of deflection and airing of unrelated grievances from Republican defenders. Would've liked to see the more than 10 GOP Reps voting for impeachment especially since it was their lives being threatened last week but will take it. Also while McCarthy and Scalise didn't vote for impeachment and made arguments about process at least they recognized that what Trump did was impeachable.

Barring anything else happening I'm guessing that there wasn't enough Republican Reps voting for impeachment will give enough cover for most of the Senate GOP to not convict. We'll see a lot of the same partisanship from people like Ron Johnson and Ted Cruz while weaseling about "Trump is already out of office" and "we need unity" from people like Lindsey Graham and Rubio. That said Mitt Romney is likely not going to be alone in voting for conviction and there might be 10 Republican Senators that vote to convict.

One thing Trump didn't lie or exaggerate about his Presidency is that it isn't like any other..

That whole "I didn't take calls or tweet jack **** during the 6 hour riot" makes me think he takes non-violence in demonstrations very very seriously.

Lol, sorry but a few weeks ago there were a few try hards who said "no, what about buchanan!" for him neglecting to stop the civil war and only had Trump in bottom 5

Aside from his other failings, Trump is trying to invite a civil war and literally had a band if thugs **** on congress and try to murder his own VP

He will be known as the worst and it won't be even close.

Tucker Carlson and his guest just came up with this one: stop talking about Trump and talk about his voters, who's going to represent them? Also Liz Cheney and Mitch McConnell took too many crazy pills, ha.

Okay so everybody quit talking about Trump.

...what foresight by the Donald, having Rudy Giuliani as his personal lawyer for just such an eventuality.

...no one knows more about potential exposure than Gooey-ani...;)

Hahahaha. Yeah, that should get taken seriously.
Her career will be meteoric, but not in the direction she hopes.

Appreciate the fact you aren’t being one sided ...a Democrat and a Republican on the worst list.
I agree and your knowledge of president history is noted as impressive...it’s so important to have people that care about people if that makes sense. Empathy is a very under valued trait especially in a service position like the president
