Are you sure about that? I had heard that a Minnesota rep withdrew their objection and I was thinking others had two. I know that 6 senators withdrew their objections.
I say let him Resign. Pence is President for a week. Let him give Trump his pardon. Don't worry...the State of NY, Manhattan DA, and the District of Columbia can go after him with State charges.
You can’t run with Felony convictions. He will be charged in NY. Trump is likely to have health issues any way by 2024.
That's all they've been doing for years. Talking about violence and how they're armed and have all the ammo etc etc Man screw em we can't be bullied on this. It's too important a precedent to set.

Pence’s leak to the press that the 25th isn’t off the table is a tell and a political maneuver. It’s a tell that the Republicans do not want the be on the record with impeachment and it’s a tell that they don’t want to bar Trump from running again because they feel they need his campaign cash register. We all know the 25th wasn’t going to be invoked when cowards like Devos and Chao resigned the other day. They did that to help Trump in one final act of betrayal to the country. They knew what they were being required to do and in that moment chose to flee the moment like cowards. Now it’s up to Congress with impeachment and the Republicans are doing anything they can to avoid taking that vote of either having to be on record of supporting insurrection (which many in the House already are) or removal.
IIRC the Constitution does not restrict felons from running. Common sense from the electorate should, but that ship has sailed.
Now we find out there was a third call by trump to Georgia... these calls in themselves are against both federal and state laws and impeachable offenses...
