I hate these teams, they screwed up the lower Western Brackets in my NBA Pick and Roll. They were both supposed to lose! HGRrrgrrrrr. I've been spot on in games/series winners on the east at least. Well I'm going to say Spurs win this in 5.
Spurs in 6. Paul's gonna go loco on them but the Spurs are clearly the better team. I don't really want either of them to win, but if we go to the second round, don't we meet the winner of this series? If that's the case I'd want the Hornets. However ideally I would like them both to lose.
I think it comes down to Manu´s streaky play, if he somewhat averages between 18-22 points a game with good percentage then it´s on the Spurs. If not, it will come down to if the spurs are able to take it to another level as they did last year.
Well it was up to you, you were plain wrong about the Spurs loosing to PHX, it´s been a consistent fact over the years that the Spurs beats PHX everytime they met.
In the 9 or so years that the Spurs have been in title contention, IIRC no team has ever beaten them in a 7 game series relying soley on ONE dominating player (1995 was 13 year ago ). LeBron couldn't do it last year. If I was a betting man I'd pick the Spurs in 6. But maybe it's time to rewrite history....
Spurs in 5. I cant believe some of you guys are suggesting that West will/can out play TD. West is a good player, but he is going to get dominated.
I wish I could bet some of you guys, or some of the geniuses at ESPN. They split the season series, with NO winning on both courts, giving the Spurs two of their three worst losses of the entire season. God knows I've been wrong before, but I smell regime change.
That's nice and dandy, but if there is a team in NBA history that you do NOT judge by their regular season play, it's the San Antonio Spurs. It's also precisely why every year you have doubters coming out of the closet claiming that the Spurs "aren't what they used to be" based on a bad stretch of games or a few stumbles in the regular season.
I'm not sure who to pick in this one. Is Tim Duncan tripping over his own feet still a foul on the defender? Yes? Guess that settles it.
Hornets 8-0 run. Audience are very impressive! The all didn't sit untill the hornets get their first point.
