Boston fans think the opposite, Ray and Paul did nothing and they still won.....

I know what I am seeing on the court. It's a fact that they struggled mightily against #8 seed. Their performance in playoffs game has been disappointing. I am not sure who can argue with that.

Keep winning? They barely squeezed out a 7 game sires win against a team they should have blown out and then they barely won the first home game of the series today with the star of the other team bascially disappearing.

As I said, theya re lucky they are in the East. If not they would not be barely winning right now. They would have been out.

    he sure did.

Sam is playing decent defense too, he's not letting his guy blow by him.

it's true. bron played like tmac was playing this yr or last yr most of the time -> pick and roll, pick and roll -> double teams with ease

the reason kobe is so effective scoring is b/c he doesn't do that. phil puts him in the high post (which adelman did for tmac in the last 2 games) where he can get to the rim with ease.

Boston fans have been losing for so long they will take anything they can get.

Ray never showed up for playoffs so I am not sure when that is going to change.

The fact still remains that Celtics had far better record in the regular season but you could not tell by the way they played the Hawks and once again the Cavaliers in the home opening game of the series.

He should be. I already said it before. Mike Brown's clipboard for the offense looks like 4 arrows pointing to the number 23. That's it.

Either that or a whole bunch of question marks.

He is late to the party. I've been ripping Mike Brown since the middle of LAST season. He makes JVG look like an offensive genius and has no business being a head coach.

Mike Brown should have done a better job of helping Lebron figure out the Celtics defense. Not enough adjustments to open the floor more. You think he figure something out by the fourth quarter.

    Alright Nostradamus.....

Remember our championship years? We were a classic play down to your opponent team, but it turned out O.K.

Ray Allen had the worst game of his career.......
Paul Pierce was not far behind him...........

    They had 4 Points!!!!!!!!!

    but the problem is:
pierce will keep guarding lebron and he'll be so tired b/c lebron is so physical that his offense won't ever be dominant.

and ray allen has not shown up in the playoffs so this is not surprising tonight. he might as well stayed home. rondo has made more of an impact on this team than ray in the playoffs.

I dont know about that, ray allen was pretty much a non factor in the atlanta series. He should even be allowed to look joe johnson in the eye :D

Sam's 3 was sweet. He faked a pass, and Lebron immediately turned and ran to the corner.

    Wide Open, 4th quarter.. swish

You seem to be completely missing the point. To say I am Nostradamus would be to say I am predicting future. I am not.

I am saying based on what the Celtics have shown on the court so far in the playoffs, they would not have made thru the first round if they were in the West. Only team that has played worse than them in the West has been the Nuggets. Remember, the first round of games are over, so I can access how the teams have played.

If you think Celtics's performance is acceptable, then that only shows the parity between the two conferences.

Again, they are lucky they are in the East so they still have time to improve their play.

How do you know they would have played the same way if they would have played a west team?

Playing down to your competition happens to everyone at some point...

Mike Brown basically has his PG runs down the clock and passes the ball to LBJ out of 3 pt line with less than 10 sec left. What do you want LBJ to do when the defense is set with a short shot clock?

Doc Rivers is an idiot too.
The hot player in the 4th was Sam, he needed more shots.

basically Doc Rivers coaching the Rockets vs Orlando Game 1, the Rockets would have lost cause he wouldn't want Kenny jacking up all those 3s even though he was on fire like NBA Jam on cheat mode.

If Ray Allen was hot, then they should milk him too, but he wasn't.

I see what you are saying.

#1 seed team in the entire league wanted to purposely play down just so that they can have fun in a 7 game series against the #8 seed.

Yes, they could have played better but they chose to toy around with a eight seeded team for fun. Elimination games are always fun!

    LOL!
