Don't sell yourself short, R2K! I think you will be surprised that you know more here than you would think. My plans were to give Mango and Pued, pretty much all of today, before moving on with this. So far, I have Behad, codell, and you plus RIET (1st alternate). Sometime Friday, I will send to whoever winds up being on the "committee" my 128 entries. I will have clearly marked 64 that I feel are automatics; it is the other 64 or "at-large" berths that I want reviewed. The committee will review my picks and comment, letting me know if there are people that should be in that I left out. Once we finalize the 128, then I will try seeding the thing. Once I get this done, I will have the committee comment again. After making any adjustments, I will post here the field of entries and then probably start the next day with the actual voting. My goal is to try to get the field posted here on Monday, but it will depend on how fast I get the comments back from the committee. Oh - committee members - I need to know if your email through the BBS is valid or not. I have Behad's email already, but not codell's or R2K's. I think R2K has the feature of being able to be emailed through the board but I know that codell doesn't. R2K and codell, if the 2 of you could email me at jfyoung@charter.net, that might be the easiest thing instead of me wondering if email addresses are still working or not.
I have a better idea! Let's all honestly post the length and girth of our genitalia, and the biggest one wins! To ensure honesty from whoever wins, we have to elect someone to verify the entry of the weiner. Hmmm, who could that fact checker be?
Didn't we have the 2nd best poster tourney this year? I seem to remember that I was going down in flames in the first round to somebody, I forgot who, but then I came out with my attack ad and actually got some people to change their votes. Good times.
It was either last year or in February. Yea, I remember that, too. The thing is that tourney was for newer posters - one that weren't in Pued's tournament. Back then, a lot of people didn't know those guys (you included) that well. But that is not the case now, Oski.
I think my name should be actually thrown in the tournment this time. I am taking this all the way to the finals.
Wow, that tourney was a long time ago. I made it to the sweet 16 before getting plowed by Jeff, like 30 to 8 or something. Now I probably wouldn't even be on the ballot. Come to think of it, I'd bet the best poster tourney would still come down to a "2nd best" tourney, given Jeff's popularity and contributions. One thing though, is that back then most of the people on the list were in every forum, contributing to both the Hangout and GARM for instance. Now it seems like there are very few who find their way to every forum, and we have alot of single-forum posters. I'd think that would make it alot tougher to vote.
