I think this weekend told me what people think is the better game, hands down. I went to go buy 2k9, and I couldnt find it ANYWHERE. It was sold out at Best Buy, Walmart, Circuit City, and even EB Games! It was CRAZY. Meanwhile, I did see NBA Live 09 in every store available for each platform. I think the people have spoken.
Wrong. 2K has been the #1 selling next gen basketball game. Oh and I believe the other dude. I had to go to 3 stores until I finally got my copy of 2k9.
Hmm that's weird, I have an assocation with the Raptors (I just like those alternate jerseys) and I have Ron Artest on my team and I got the same exact offer lol.
Just ask yourself this question... Rockets and Blazers meet in the WCF in your association. Do you want Outlaw and Aldridge on your side, or Ron Artest? The Rockets are deep enough at both positions that I see no need to make a trade that's not obviously in your favor.
As far as this new patch goes, do I have to download it and upload it, or will it automatically do that on it's own? As I mentioned in the other thread, I hate how they still make Yao tire easily, and how Landry has a shoddy dunk rating. Hey, if you update a players rating...when you accept the new roster from 2K9...will it undo the changes you made?
"BL Sim Sliders" Hey guys check out those sliders on 2K share....... Makes the game 1000x better, its like a completely different game I hear he is coming out with a second rvised version of them tonight...... Seriously though, before you dog 2K, try playing with these on.......
Wow. This game is way cheap on HOF difficulty. Played the Lakers on Superstar difficulty... crushed them by 30. No problem. Ratcheted it up to HOF, started playing the Celtics, was up a fair bit after one by just dominating with Yao... then the cheapness started. Couldn't buy a three with anyone, totally unguarded every time... Rondo was making layups through Yao's arms and hands, Yao was getting everything rejected down low, McGrady was blowing wide-open layups... it's like the game was angry I was beating it. Quit in the middle of the 2nd quarter in frustration after Rondo's 3rd Kobe-esque acrobatic driving layup.
Hafta say, I don't like those sliders. They make the game even easier and higher-scoring than it already was. I mean, look at them for yourself... he gives the user higher stats across the board for the most part. I did try Aaron's sliders for a bit though, those are pretty good so far... much more sim. Both of the sliders I tested on superstar.
Benecio10's sliders = most sim version I've tried. The gameplay might be a little too boring and speed too slow for some however. Of course, these can be adjusted and worked on depending on your personal prefs.
