Why stop there? Lakers record is going down! But seriously though. We're quite lucky to be taking on some teams not at 100%. And the Rockets need a patsy early schedule like this to work out the chinks in our game, which there are plenty of. I'm thinking 22-7, which would be 25-10 for the year and sitting pretty near the top of the west.
lol i think the 22 wins have spoiled some folks. this isn't something that happens often. its a rare occasion like Tmacs 13 in 35.
I understand that 22-0 is not an every year or every other year occurrence. That being said, I feel that this team has a HELL of a shot of doing something eerily similar this season. Tracy McGrady's knee and Yao Ming's game grow stronger with each passing game. Ron Artest will not shoot as poorly as he has much longer. Aaron Brooks is blossoming before our very eyes. We've all seen the type of basketball Houston is capable of playing. The schedule has just turned drastically in our favor. Time to seize destiny!
why don't we just go one at a time. Play the game that night only. Let the chips fall where they might.
To use a poker reference. If the rockets play like pocket aces for the rest of the 30 games. While at the same time the opponents play like 7 2 offsuit for 30 games. We have a 93.7% chance of winning each game. .937^30= .142. so we have a 14.2% chance of winning 30 games in a row If we're freaking awesome every game. Yes, i believe......
as much as i would love for that to happen but i think we should take it easy. though i admire your enthusiasm, lets just take one game at the time. lets take care of the Spurs n move on from there and continue to improve. do u have any idea the probability of going 29-0? even last year if werent for Novak, we wouldnt even be having the 22 winning streak. our big test will be against Hornets. it will be a big boost of confidence to be able to beat a high calibre team like them
I read through this entire thread hoping to find evidence of sarcasm. No such luck. Talk about optimistic!!
