Wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't given how close games tend to end with the fouling game. But mighty impressive nonetheless.
Talk about stat padding It's nice that the Rockets came away with the victory. Lowry, Martin, and Patterson were the catalyst for this victory. Props.... Utah played so well too... Fun game to watch.
Those were the days; when we had a true superstar. How I miss those days. I remember watching that game in my closet bc my dad wouldnt let me watch the Rockets for some strange reason. I was deprived!
We should have been able to hold Utah under a hundred. Those last 15 points from Utah really exposed us for who we are - CHOKE CITY. There is always a chance agaisnt our team no matter what the score is at any given time. We were just lucky because they kept on fouling Martin instead of forcing us to make our own plays and shots near the end. Which we fail terribly at.
Intentionally fouling Kevin Martin is such a bad idea. Good to know that we'll almost never lose due to poor endgame foul shooting.
I'm curious to know what the record is. I couldn't find anything with a google search. I'm sure this would this would be up there.
