I don't think it should be a question of who's the better player right now. Scoring is in HIGH demand on the roster, and Aaron is our best scorer right now. At least for this season, he will be starting unless we trade for more scorers. I like Lowry alot, I think he's got special court vision and would be a decent starter but we are struggling to score.

i agree with unleashing AB. he has to ability to get by any defender. good things happen when theres penetration. hehe i said penetrate. all kidding aside, I recall a certain super star on our team that would take 25 shots while shooting 38%. I dont see any problem with letting someone else try it, if they can be a more efficient scorer.

we have a lot of other issues to address, but i feel unleashing AB0 could help one of the biggest issues we have. ...scoring

Aaron Brooks is a stud who is going to average 20 ppg. If not this year, definitely next.

I'm a Lowry fan too however. And I wish we could somehow get them on the floor together without giving up SO much size.

Judging by our playstyle right now... we are in desperate need for a slasher a la Von Wafer.

Kyle Lowry is better at creating offense for his teammates, and is much better at pushing the tempo on a fastbreak. Aaron Brooks limits the offense as a SG in a PG's body. That said, Aaron Brooks could EASILY average 20 a game this year...

I don't want anyone on the team taking that many shots. Maybe C-Bud if he hits the first five in a row.

anybody taking 20-25 shots a game usually is not good for his team, unless your name is kobe (there are a few others).

but this year it's not like it matters that much for the rockets. so i don't care. i just hope people can lower their expectations of the team, and anyone on the team for that matter.

With the team being offensively challenged ie.(Hayes, Battier and Ariza), I don't think Brooks is going to have much of a choice until Tracy comes back. Brooks is going to have to be a high volume shooter for the time being. P-N-R

True. To this points, Brooks is a very poor man's Steve Francis at his peak. An undersized shooting guard playing PG.

Even Yao Ming never had 25 shots a game.

Please.. Brooks should get no more than 12~15.
