Me and my wife are about to renew for 13 bucks. Everytime you renew it's cheaper. I originally signed a 3 year deal six years ago for 32 bucks. The second 3 years were 24 and now it's 13.

Between the active, sport, and super sport clubs, which is the best value? Are the added benefits of sport or super sport worth the additional money?

Wow!! So I look into the website of this place called The Club. Turns out to be a gym for the gay community. They got 1/2 price rooms on Monday (whatever that is supposed to mean), free HIV testing, and the whole 9 yards. Thank God I looked at the website before paying a visit.

Not much of a choice for me. I wanted the basketball court so it ruled out an active membership, there were not any super sport clubs close by, so I chose the sport option.

I just joined the one in Sugarland. There is an activation fee of about $160.00 and a monthly fee of $50.00. You can quit anytime but you have to pay the activation fee each time you want to join again.

There is a 24 opening up on Highway 290, and Bingle.

That used to be an Academy. It's probably going to be some little rinky dink place, but I hope they put in a basketball court.

Yeah, that's by my place. My wife really wants one with a pool, but I doubt that they'll put one in.

For those with the 800/36months, i was wondering how you got that price and where. Ive been trying to get a price like that, but the most 24hours will offer is 1000/36months.

I go to the 24 Hour Fitness on Post Oak. It's great. I split a membership with a friend who got a deal and pay $35 per month. I got the membership that allows me to go to any gym nationwide.

This one doesn't have a bball court, but one right down the street from there does. Haven't been to that one just yet.

A buddy and I signed up for 1500 bucks. We get to go to any gym in houston. Renewal is 17 bucks a month after our three year deal ended.

I do. It is not bad. Not as thuggish as the Voss location. I hated going there. At least that is how it was 3 years ago.

Supersport is just the old Q. SOme of raquetball courts which are nice. Sport has the basketball courts. Active and Express are just smaller gyms.
