How does this season stack up to the last 2? I didn't watch the 2nd and 3rd seasons, but this time I'm hooked. I think it just takes watching one episode to get you hooked on the show.
Season 1 was awesome and season 2 was even better. Season 3 probably wasn't as good, least to me, but it was still great. Season 4 is good also, but I'm not liking it as much as the first three. That might have to do with the fact, though, that I watched the first 3 uninterrupted on DVD instead of having to wait a week between episodes. Second best current show on TV, I believe. Right behind FOX's other show, the OC.
Season 1 was the best. Season 2 had a great first 2/3s and an ok final third. Season 3 was the opposite with a mediocre first 2/3s and a killer final third(once the stuff in the hotel goes down). Season 4 has been kicking ass so far. It's right on par with the first and second seasons through 10 episodes. The big question is if they can maintain the momentum for another 14 hours. We know the terrorists' plot with the nuclear plants will play out within the next hour or two, so that still leaves half the day to fill.
Weird..what the heck happened at that office place? They kidnapped the pyschologist dude and they shot Mary Ann..I'm glad that evil woman finally is gone lol. And the dudes are American..
What was up with the preview for next week? The defense contractor selling weapons to terrorists? Unexplained helicopters and bombs? Jack bracing himself for something? Weird, it's like a whole new show.
well thank god they finally finished off the maya and erin storyline and poor erin is going to leave ctu. i was startin to like her character after she stopped being a hard-ass. *****lil spoiler******** theres going to be a bomb that will explode and has ties with def contractor but this bomb hasn't never been seen on 24
Well it showed in the next episode segment that Darkman II/the Mummy will be hunted and he says they'll send everything they have after him.
Yeah, but other than that. It's kind of like the writers said "what can we pull out of our ass next?"
Yeah that was easily the worst sub-plot thats been on 24. Luckily i recorded the episodes and was able to fast foward through those parts in last nights.
It led to Tony being put back in his old job. I agree though, the actual segments added nothing to the show.
Yeah, man, the first season was awesome! The 2nd was even better, though. 3 and 4 (so far) haven't lived up to those two for me, but they are still good. Don't get me wrong, I really liked Michelle in previous seasons, but at this point I'm mad at her and don't like her at all. I love Tony, and the fact she left him after losing his job for her - it's really b****y/cold that she'd leave him. I hope she redeems herself somehow, but I think she's gonna be a b**** to Tony (who is da MAN!).
** Spoilers ** It's just gotten so damn implausible at this point. I was watching Monday's episode and that stupid little computer battle between the corporate no-gooders and the CTU nerds. Then, the corporate no-gooders just so happen to have an EMP bomb they will use to elminate their computer records. WTH? I may be gullible...BUT COME ON! It's still exciting but the way it all falls into place is hysterical.
