This is the best show ever (Alias is a close second). My best friend is all about CSI, but after you have watched 24, CSI is soooooooooo slow paced & boring. Can't wait to see how Jack gets out of this one !
when does CSI come on...which one's better Miami or the original one..and when does Alias come on? I used to watch Alias weekly I just stopped. That is a good show. 24 is awesome. CSI is good too it's slower not that boring but yeah i wish it went a little quicker still a good show. Are there DVDS for CSI too?
My only gripe with the show (in general) is that why does it have to be set in Los Angeles every year. This is the perfect show to move from city to city. 24 in Las Vegas or New York would be cool. And frankly, in terms of plausibility, I find it hard to believe that terrorists just want to keep on trying to destroy L.A. year in and year out. It is not THAT important of a city.
The first 12 minutes were great tonight. Jack killed between 12 and 14 terrorists. William Devane took care of 2 himself. Then watching that kid beat the guy with a shovel, that's great tv. According to the episode list Tony Almeida returns to the show next week. Interesting... http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/GuidePageServlet/showid-3866/epid-389034/
I guess we know now what the bulk of this season is all about - a remote control that controls every single nuclear reactor in the country. That is some ridiculous ****.
Finally!! I thought i was the only one who didn't like that. Jack saved us three times and people still have no respect for him. And above all, he's not even the head of CTU. What the heck?
That really bothered me as well. Also did they really have to make the mole so damn obvious...and why does there always need to be a mole every season? It was almost as if they were trying to throw is off by making it so obvious. One of these days they also may want to ban cell phones in CTU...
Man, I'm still rooting for the underdogs here... Uncle Jack is a nutcase and should be sent to an institution..
Started watching a few weeks ago and I`m hooked. I really like the fast pace of this show......cant wait till next week
Scroll through the pictures, it has a shot from next week's episode with Tony in it. Wonder how he got back in the picture? http://www.skyone.co.uk/programme/pgeProgramme.aspx?pid=8
http://www.thefutoncritic.com/cgi/gofuton.cgi?action=pr&id=20050125fox01 CELL PHONE NUMBER FEATURED ON "24" CONNECTS FOR MORE THAN 50,000 DIE-HARD FANS Demonstrating yet again just how devoted fans are to every detail of the hit series 24 (Mondays, 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT on FOX), more than 50,000 people watching last week's episode deciphered the phone number shown on a cell phone screen and dialed it - the number that actually belongs to the prop master on 24. In the episode "Day 4: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM," which aired Jan. 17, Debbie Pendleton (Leighton Messter), who was just killed by Dina Araz (Shohreh Aghdashloo), received a call on her cell phone. The caller was Debbie's mother, and fans with a DVR were able to pause the shot and see the actual incoming number. Thousands of fans have since been dialing that phone number and crew members of 24 - along with stars Carlos Bernard, Reiko Aylesworth and Mary Lynn Rajskub - have been taking the calls.
yea, when i rewound it on my tivo i found it strange why they just didnt use the standard 555 number they use. i didnt bother to call though.
Oh my God! 24 IS THE BEST NON-COMEDY SHOW THAT HAS EVER BEEN ON TELEVISION, IN MY OPINION! IT IS JUST TRULY, BRILLIANTLY AMAZING! A friend of mine first turned me on to 24 a couple weeks ago. He rented the whole 2nd season at one time. I didn't know anything about the show other then the fact it takes place in the course of a day, and I wasn't really planning on watching it.....Then, I watched the first episode. Wow!!! Before I knew it, I watched the whole 2nd season in a day (real time). The show was too addictive I stayed up all night and watched it for basically 18 hours straight. Then I went back and watched season one which was torturous for me towards the end because Nina had been such a good character the whole time, but I unfortunately knew what was coming. Not long after viewing the first season (which only took a couple of days), I moved onto the third season which I completed in just a few days also. Watching this show on DVD is the way to go. Every week, even before some of the commercial breaks, definitely a lot of the time after each episode, the show hits you with a cliffhanger. They bring more and more suspense. The show is spectacular. Random Rants: Jack SHOULD be more praised for all the crap he's done. His cover about actually wanting the $15 mil in season 3 seems plausible after how many times he's received the short end of the stick. I'm dissapointed Tony, Michelle, and Pedro Cerrano -- err, Palmer aren't back. Every person I've come to like at CTU has either been killed or faded off the face of the Earth and it sucks! CTU really needs to do better background checks on the people they hire and just spy on all their people all the time. Basically, the show has a rule that there will always be at least one traitor. I can't wait for next Monday, it's gonna suck watching this show 1 episode at a time when I'm so used to seeing several.
Sorry to bring this back up, but I finally watched it last night...I've been crazy busy with work, etc... Anyway, this show was cool, but the one man army, c'mon... Eisha, Eisha, Eisha...what more can you say... I loved it when Barush (msp???) killed that dude after finding out his father set him up...
